PARIS: 1940′s

The 40′s is one of my favourite decades. The evolution of fashion and the changes that took place throughout history fascinate me. If only we lived in a ‘simpler’ time, not assuming it be an easier one. Sometimes I love to reflect on how things have changed and how different things are in comparison. I was reading through a book I picked up recently, Paris: A Guide to the City’s Creative Heart, it is the cutest and most informative book on where to shop, eat and peruse in the city of light. It inspired me to share some beautiful images of Paris during the early 1940′s. Riding bikes on the street, markets, Le Seine, city scape, working factories, and a clothing construction lab.
